All of the incumbents have no clue on how to push America out of recession. The Chairman of the Fed, Ben Bernanke has a clue but is still missing the mark.

Existential philosophers maintained that the individual is solely responsible for giving his or her own life meaning and for living that life passionately and sincerely, in spite of many existential obstacles and distractions including despair angst, absurdity, alienation and boredom. But after only a few weeks of bringing my grandchildren's dog to the dog park I realized that existentialism is a grandiose extrapolation of basic animal behavior. Humans like dogs, act instinctually. A few weeks with the dog in the dog park was more valuable than years of education.

Had a nice Christmas in Longmeadow with the grandkids. My son did most of the cooking. Unbelievably good. I found a great Italian bakery in Westborough. Gerrardo’s is a small dumpy looking building with the best cannolis I ever had. Not too sweet, the good Ricotta. Great Tiramisu.

I just got back from a weekend babysitting my grandchildren. I went to his hockey practice and scrimmage on Saturday. Sammy was moved from group b (six to nine) to group a (ten to twelve). He is only 5 years old. He is too young to play on the travel team so he plays on the intramural team against ten to twelve year olds

By the way, I went to my 5 year old grandson Sammy’s hockey game today. He plays in the mite division. They are 6 – 8 years old. His team won 6 – 3. He scored four goals and assisted on the other two. One of the assists was a behind the back pass. This seldom happens at high school level. He is even more dominant in hockey than in soccer.
